About
Seams Like Fun started with a simple belief: every person deserves clothes that fit. We teach the alterations that make that possible.

Alterations Specialist & Workshop Instructor
With years of experience in garment alterations and tailoring, I've worked on everything from everyday denim to special occasion gowns. I started teaching because I kept meeting people who owned beautiful clothes they never wore — because the fit was just slightly off.
My classes are small on purpose. Four students means I can watch every stitch, answer every question, and make sure you leave with a finished alteration — not just a half-finished project and a vague sense of what to do next.
I believe sewing skills are practical life skills. You don't need to be a fashion designer to hem your own pants or take in a waistband. You just need someone to show you how — and that's exactly what I'm here for.
Teaching Philosophy
No lengthy demos before you touch a machine. You'll be sewing within the first few minutes of class.
Small classes mean individual attention. I can see what you're doing and correct it in real time.
Every class is structured so you complete an actual alteration before you go home.
Whether you've been sewing for years or never threaded a needle, you're welcome here.
The Studio
The workshop is set up specifically for teaching — good lighting, plenty of table space, and machines that are properly maintained and ready to use. You're welcome to bring your own machine or use one of ours.
